Connect automatic categories
Microsoft will ask for access to read and manage your mailbox and maintain access while you’re away. Junk Desk checks the sender, subject, preview, and importance, then adds an Outlook category.
We store encrypted sign-in credentials and a processing history on Cloudflare. Message bodies, subjects, and senders are not saved in that history.

What the categories mean
Junk Desk: Review — one or more warning signs matched, such as a gambling promotion, broken encoding, emoji, high importance, or a long preview.
Junk Desk: No warning — none of these rules matched. This does not guarantee that a message is safe. Microsoft’s spam filtering still applies.
Your existing categories are preserved. Only messages received after your first connection are eligible. Messages are never automatically moved, deleted, or sent.
Results are kept for 90 days. Failed work remains available for retry. If Microsoft revokes the connection, this page will ask you to reconnect. Check Microsoft account permissions to revoke the app’s grant.
